How to Integrate Salesforce and Gmail

Go to the website for Cirrus Insight.

Click the link to install the browser extension for Chrome or Firefox.

In Chrome, a warning bar should appear at the bottom left of the browser. Click "Continue." In Firefox, click “Allow” in the extension installation confirmation dialog.

In Chrome, a dialog box will appear. Click "Install." In Firefox, when the extension installation dialog appears, click “Install Now.”

Open Gmail in a new browser tab.

Open an email message from your inbox.

Click the Sign In button and sign in with your Salesforce account.

You can now view contextual information from Salesforce alongside emails in Gmail. You can also create new leads and contacts, save emails to Salesforce, and manage cases and opportunities, all without leaving Gmail.
